Often people will ask some amazing question via Quora and will get a deserving reply from me. One such question is,
"What is the dark side of being Tamil in India?"
My reply for the above question was,
Plenty!
I can add plenty of points to prove how dark it is to be a Tamil guy in India. But still, let me add few hard truth.
• There will be a school within 5KM circle in Urban areas and 10KM circle in the rural area. - Dark in School Education.
• On an average 1 Deemed University per district and 5–10 Engineering college per district - Dark in Higher education.
• There will be at least one doctor per area in urban region and 1 in a village ( rural region) - Dark in Healthcare.
• 100% electrification completed before a decade - Dark State.
• There will be public transport facility to all the rural area - Dark in Transport
• There will be at least one smart phone per house in urban areas and one smart phone per street in rural area - Dark in Technology.
• GDP of Tamil Nadu is higher than the GDP of India - Dark in Economy.
• Safest state for Independent women with lowest number of Sexual harassment cases - Dark in Women safety
• State with Highest number of Women leaders - Dark in Women Empowerment.
These are few among the lot and yes, there are lot of dark side being Tamil in India. The biggest dark side is, rest of India(especially North Indians) doesn't even consider Tamil Nadu as integral part of India. No issues,

Note: Please don't underestimate Tamil Nadu with the current EPS government from (2016). This is the darkest period of Tamil Nadu.
